If more evidence is needed that Little Feat is straightaway a route band, pure and simple, this is it. The album�s all-star roster of designated vocalists - including Dave Matthews, Bob Seger, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Robinson and Brooks & Dunn - can�t provide half the firepower that Feat alone generates in its jam-heavy live shows. And while it�s a kick back to hear Vince Gill tackle �Dixie Chicken� and Jimmy Buffett assay �Time Loves a Hero,� the album�s otherwise flat arrangements and predictable tune choices prove that this storeyed band doesn�t take trajectory these days until the curtain goes up.
